Vic Johnston Community Centre, the community centre built by the community and operating for the community.

• Opened in 1961 as the Streetsville & District Community Centre
  
• The facility was renamed the Vic Johnston Community Centre in 1973, in honour of the late Vic Johnston, the driving force behind the inception of the community centre
  
• Residents of Streetsville take pride that no government money was used to build or operate the arena with the exception of government assistance to replace the arena floor and ice plant in the mid 90’s
  
• Vic Johnston Community Centre stands as one of a few independently not for profit operated arenas in southern Ontario.
